Job description

A fast-growing startup developing a fintech loan platform to provide liquidity to equity-earning employees is looking for a Senior Test Engineer. The engineer will report directly to the CTO and own the testing of the entire platform. The company is providing liquidity options for startup equity. This will be a great opportunity for developers to test their mettle and work in an agile environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop well-planned and structured test plans using automated scripts
  • Prepare detailed test reports
  • Understand priority and execute automated testing processes
  • Troubleshoot and debug software through testing
  • Keep developing knowledge about the latest trends and monitor QA metrics
  • Discuss verification protocols with the team members to design automated tests
  • Collaborate with quality analysts and developers to identify and test key functionalities of applications
  • Test core pieces of the infrastructure
  • Define the direction and culture of the company

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Test engineer
  • Should have at least 4+ years of experience working on automating tests for web and APIs
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of GraphQL
  • A deep understanding of security testing is essential
  • Expertise in scripting SQL codes is required
  • Should be an efficient communicator - written and verbal communication
