Job description

The selected candidate will be collaborating with a development team using agile approaches to create and deploy high-availability and high-performance systems. The company's state-of-the-art circular economy and software solutions address the evolving requirements of organizations across a range of sectors, from logistics to retail. Job Responsibilities:

  • Mentor the development team you'll head, fostering their growth and the technological community at the organization
  • Ensure the accessibility and dependability of your services that support the expansion of the company's operation
  • Share concepts, innovative techniques, or technology advancements that will help the present technological landscape
  • Together with the PO, create the solution's roadmap and the architecture needed to implement it
  • Ensure that the development team is using good development techniques by taking the lead
  • Together with a product owner, estimate and rank the user stories for the product that you are building
  • Find solutions to common problems by discussing your experiences with peers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Tech Lead
  • Extensive experience working with Java, Spring, and Kafka
  • Demonstrable understanding and implementation of DDD principles
  • Prior help with the creation of distributed service-based systems architecture
  • Solid familiarity with Java development architectures and techniques
  • Extensive knowledge or experience in a hexagonal architecture
  • Familiarity working with the Spring framework
  • Prolific understanding of or experience working with gRPC and protobuf
  • Thorough knowledge of Kafka or another queue manager
  • Nice to have any additional project management or management knowledge
  • Expertise in designing systems architecture based on distributed services 
  • Demonstrable experience working in environments that support concurrency and high performance
  • Prior knowledge in API design and development
  • Solid understanding of code review and development using the continuous integration framework
  • Prior experience developing cloud technologies is preferred
  • Nice to have a solid background working in a Scrum teams
  • Prior involvement in the development of an API strategy and familiarity with accepted guidelines (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, RAML, etc.) is ideal
  • Some background in developing CQRS services is desirable
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
