Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that is manufacturing game-changing transportation solutions and products for the market is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for streamlining the entire process and helping the team to migrate from the existing semi-automated process. The company is developing revolutionary electric vehicles that will help build a greener future for the coming generations by reducing carbon footprints. They have successfully managed to secure more than $11bn in funding so far. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Take charge of automating the Tableau and Altryx access process
  • Switch to supporting Tableau and Altryx if you have the engineering expertise to collaborate with internal stakeholders but you don't need to be the tool administrator
  • Help to set up the ideal flow process on ServiceNow
  • Take charge of the development of dashboards and insights while leveraging the tools more complexly
  • Ensure that the project is taken from gathering requirements to the implementation side

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow app engine will be required,
  • Experience using ServiceNow it as an end user and also developing solutions with it will be a bonus
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow, sell point, and RPA (preferably Uipath or power platform and/or scripting)
  • Extensive experience working with tools like Tableau, Altryx, and PowerBI will be nice to have
  • Prior experience working as a Business Analyst or Tableau Developer will be a plus
  • Solid understanding of visualization products
  • Demonstrable experience developing dashboards in Tableau and workflows in Altryx will be nice to have
  • Ability to don many hats as the role may shift in scope from executing the project to day-to-day operations
  • Prior experience with incident management and primarily ITSM is desirable
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
