Senior Django Engineer

A U.S.-based company that is developing a scaleable, secure method of distributing payments using their ground-breaking platform, is looking for a Senior Django Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of improving engineering standards, tools, and procedures continuously. Job Responsibilities:

• Focus on scalability, supportability, and maintainability when writing code
• Conduct code reviews, take the lead, and troubleshoot complicated problems
• Build new features at scale in collaboration with the product and technical teams to progress the product goal
• Promote positive behaviors within the team, such as test-driven development, development approaches, security, and agile processes
• Have a strong feeling of ownership and enjoy taking on projects from conception to production scaling
• Participate in all stages of the software development process, including requirement gathering, design, coding, and implementation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Prolific experience working with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework 
• In-depth experience with Flutter for Mobile and Web applications
• Demonstrable experience building scalable APIs and RESTful architectures
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc.
• Solid experience working in test-driven development teams
• Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace, to keep learning, and to become an expert in your field
• Possess an extensive range of technical talents, are highly cross-functionally skilled, and be motivated to address a variety of engineering difficulties
• Fluent in spoken and written English communication
