Job description

A well-established NYSE-listed company providing hybrid cloud solutions for high-performance computing with the potential to positively impact lives is looking for a Senior Designer. The selected candidate will be responsible for investigating and prioritizing a variety of problems and solutions using divergent and convergent thinking methods. The company's cutting-edge system enables businesses and individuals to meet their growing needs while reducing IT complexity. This will be a long-term role requiring 8+ hours of overlap with the IST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Through practice articulation, standardized product design, and communication design thinking
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create design artifacts
  • From problem identification to problem framing, ideation, iterative development, delivery, and maintenance, you will be in charge of the design process
  • Take responsibility for the design decisions and approaches 
  • Independently identify customer value and business prospects in undefined problem spaces
  • Determine and create standard design artifacts (user flows, wireframes, comps, and prototypes) that efficiently and effectively communicate the intent of design decisions
  • Determine the procedure for implementing lean methods to reduce waste and risk
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance to ensure designs are implemented in the best way possible
  • As the company grows, learn new software, processes, and skills to help build a world-class UX team
  • Use design iterations to increase feedback opportunities and improve collaboration in a cross-functional team
  • Seek design feedback from the cross-functional team and facilitate scheduled meetings
  • Deliver excellently written and verbal presentations to their team
  • Contribute to the delivery of solid projects or product value

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a UX designer
  • Knowledge of UX design principles
  • Great project management skills
  • Competency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to meet project deadlines
  • Proficiency in English
