Job description

A U.S.-based company that is creating an online direct-to-consumer flower delivery service with unique, better arrangements, is looking for an IT Support Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for recording any problems, fixes, and steps for reference in the future. The company ships to customers from facilities owned by farm partners and distribution locations all around the country. This position requires a significant overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively interact with team members and resolve problems
  • Offer the fulfillment centers remote IT help, with a focus on promptly addressing printer issues to prevent shipment delays
  • Set up, maintain, and run the current systems, including resolving hardware and software problems
  • Resolve internal IT support tickets quickly and effectively
  • Encourage the fulfillment centers to print labels early in the day
  • Setup and maintain the team's Google Suite tools (onboarding/offboarding)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an IT Support Engineer
  • Knowledge of technology and tools for remote help, such as TeamViewer
  • Must be extremely responsive, especially to avoid shipping delays
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
