Job description

An NYSE-listed company bringing game-changing solutions to the insurance industry by offering individuals and businesses supplemental disability insurance services is looking for a Cloud Automation Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying technical risks and issues related to projects and developing a strategy for the solution. The company is building an efficient platform to assist customers in covering charges that their health insurance does not cover. This position requires 8+ hours of overlap with the ET time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a clear cloud strategy and oversee the transition processes
  • Perform reviews and implement the latest DevOps and Agile best practices
  • Help to plan, design, deploy and manage a variety of cloud-based solutions
  • Work alongside IT security to monitor enterprise cloud security services
  • Respond to technical concerns in a timely and competent manner
  • Help with infrastructure migration processes like large application transfers to the cloud
  • Utilize the top cloud architectures to meet strategic needs by working on cloud migration, implementation, and optimization operations
  • Build solutions to a global scale for cloud deployment and consumption

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a cloud architect
  • Must have experience in working with solutions like AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, Terraform, and Python 
  • Understanding of IaC coding and API Integration using infrastructure tools like Jfrog, Prisma, Security tools, and Service now 
  • Should possess an understanding of automated unit tests and implementing reusable, resilient, and scalable code
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of cloud automation and development
  • Expertise working on CI/CD pipelines on Cloud management platforms is required
  • Experience in working with automated build and release management processes for CI/CD
  • Hands-on expertise in the AWS cloud environment is required
  • AWS Cloud certifications is highly preferred
