Job description

A fast-growing company providing customers with entirely plant-based menus to help make plant-forward living as accessible and delicious as possible, is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer. The selected candidate will be expected to take ownership of building and maintaining the data warehouse in AWS. The US-based company is dedicated to building a world-class, seamless product by leveraging technology that makes high-quality nutrition accessible to all consumers. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from several departments to gather reporting requirements and metrics like LTV, churn, and ROAS
  • Contribute to key technical decisions for the business’s future data, analysis, and reporting needs
  • Work on developing, maintaining, and supporting ETL processes for loading data from multiple data sources into Redshift
  • Conduct research and fix data quality issues proposing both short and long-term solutions
  • Provide expert technical inputs to successfully adopt best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data warehouse engineer
  • Should possess deep knowledge of data warehousing, architecture, and design
  • Must have advanced SQL development experience
  • Experience working with business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred
  • Ability to translate business queries into data warehouse requirements
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work with a problem-solving mentality
  • Should be self-motivated for delivering and maintaining projected timelines
  • Well-versed in working with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, EC2, and VPC
