A US-based marketing company that is a leading provider of direct marketing solutions for enterprises and franchises is looking for a Senior API Developer. The selected candidate will be working with a highly talented team of designers and engineers to bring out the required solutions. The developer will be responsible for investigating, designing, and implementing new order processing APIs. The company is leading the industry by providing on-demand direct marketing solutions. Job Responsibilities:

Follow industry best practices to design and develop APIs
Take responsibility for complete API designing aspects, including scalability, rate limiting, reliability, and monitoring
Track API usage and system performance by building dashboards
Perform constructive code reviews and write clean code
Work independently and guide the engineering team through system design issues
Promote best software practices to ensure scalability, testability, maintainability, and resiliency in applications
Keep up with the technology landscape and suggest improvements
Observe Agile Scrum methodology with a focus on iterative improvements
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product owners

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an API developer
Proven experience in designing and building robust, scalable, and customer-facing APIs
Working knowledge of agile methodologies
Strong attention to detail with a passion for building high-performance applications
Strong communication and collaboration skills
