Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing state-of-the-art comprehensive key loan servicing products is looking for a Windows Desktop VB.NET Developer. The developer will be collaborating proactively with project managers, QA analysts, and other developers to guarantee that solutions are delivered on time and to the highest standards. The company is providing industry-leading loan servicing and origination software solutions. This is a great opportunity for developers who are determined to build lasting solutions while working with cutting-edge technologies. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient mortgage technology solutions, create and manage bespoke Windows desktop applications with VB.NET
  • Work together with the mortgage technology team to guarantee that the organization's solutions satisfy the requirements of the customers
  • Participate in every stage of the software development process, from conception to deployment and maintenance
  • Create code that is clear, well-documented, and effective
  • Provide solutions to problems after troubleshooting and debugging them
  • Participate in code reviews and make sure coding best practices are followed
  • Keep abreast of the most recent developments and trends in mortgage technology and offer fresh suggestions for improving the organization's services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • At least 3+ years of experience developing Windows desktop applications using VB.NET for mortgage technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of mortgage technology, including guidelines and processes for the industry
  • Extensive experience working with databases like SQL Server and Entity Framework
  • Prolific experience with .NET Framework, VB.NET, and WinForms
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and principles of object-oriented programming
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and project management tools like JIRA
  • Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
