Video Streaming Engineer

The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing adaptive bitrate streaming in low bandwidth situations. The company's product portfolio comprises complementary services that enhance the passenger experience in automobiles now and self-driving cars tomorrow. The company has managed to raise close to $3mn in funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Take charge of making and improving streaming profiles
• Work on adaptive bitrate streaming optimization for low bandwidth circumstances
• Develop creative solutions for difficult corner circumstances encountered by consumers
• Improve the video quality and latency in low-bandwidth networks

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• Knowledge of the video encoding process in the cloud
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience in JavaScript
• Proficiency in English
