Job description

A rapidly-growing company putting students from all over the world in touch with professional, famous thought leaders and accomplished college students is looking for a Tech Lead/Senior Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with helping the existing team to scale the product development efforts on the platform. Students can use the platform to discover new interests, cultivate worldwide networks, and advance their ideas, creativity, and passion. This is a nice opportunity for developers who are eager to contribute to a relevant cause and help shape the future of young students. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help guide the development and make software architectural decisions
  • Assist the team in rebuilding the website from scratch
  • Help make decisions for the new in-house tech platform and assist in building it 
  • Revamp the existing website using programming languages 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Prolific knowledge of PHP 
  • Extensive experience in software development 
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking ability 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
