Job description

An early-stage Silicon Valley startup offering proprietary robotics solutions is looking for a Storage Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for delivering high-performance, scalable, and distributed software systems. The company focuses on transforming how robots, cloud, and SaaS platforms are utilized in commercial applications. The selected candidate will join an exceptional engineering team to build the next generation of information systems for the warehouse.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, implement and maintain high-performance software
  • Handle the software architecture, feature specifications, designs, and bug updates
  • Come up with a work plan with verifiable milestones and time estimates 
  • Work with the team during requirements gathering, feature specification, and code reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Nice to have 4-5 years of experience working with technologies such as Python, Java, DevOps, Python Automation, Angular, machine learning, cloud, and Git
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
