Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company exploring innovative ways of voice and video call engagement, as well as redefining industry standards, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The developer will be driving the architectural changes across the product using a data-driven approach. The company is at the forefront of groundbreaking interactive video, voice, and real-time streaming platform explorations, enabling developers to deliver rich in-app experiences. The company has secured funding worth more than $125 mn so far. This will be a full-time position that may lead to long-term opportunities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal CI/CD pipelines
  • Work on improving reliability with automation, chaos testing, and process improvement of the product
  • Troubleshoot bugs and solve problems across multiple projects stack
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and work on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
  • Keen to learn and enhance technical skills through code, documentation, knowledge sharing, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Proven track record of building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Gitlab)
  • Skilled in configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Experience in Logging/Monitoring/Insights tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
  • Familiarity with the design and development of SaaS frameworks that are highly performant and fault-tolerant 
  • Experience with SQL-based database solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, etc.)
  • Proficient in upholding compliance with GDPR and other regulations
  • Experience operating services in AWS cloud along with scripting programming skills
  • Experience in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform/Pulumi
  • Solid understanding and expertise of Linux operating system
  • Sound expertise working on security evaluations and tests
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
