Sr. Core Backend Developer

A fast-growing education management platform that provides after-school enrichment programs and summer camps to kids across the US, is looking for a Senior Core Backend Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable web services and customer experiences. The developer will build highly performant applications as per business requirements and integrate them with the server-side functionalities. You will work on AWS, Node.js, and GraphQL to help achieve the goal of providing enrichment programs to the 23mn elementary-aged kids across the US. This is a rare opportunity for those who want to build a potential business from scratch. This is a full-time role that requires at least 1-hour of time overlap with PST. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Scan existing codes and resolve bugs and errors 
• Work on design, features, and services to ensure software scalability 
• Analyze and optimize the platform to ensure faster execution and effective functionality
• Implement security and data protection practices 
• Write readable code and maintain technical documentation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science(or equivalent experience)
• Excellent working knowledge of Node.js and AWS 
• Strong working experience in GraphQL 
• Ability to work in a fast-growing environment 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
