Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has established themselves as the leading manufacturer of electric vehicles is looking for a Slack Developer (Digital Workplace). The selected candidate will be tasked with visually mapping and documenting technical solutions. The company is developing sustainable technology that will help to minimize the carbon footprint and thereby build a more eco-friendly future. They have managed to raise more than $10.5bn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Slack and collaboration workspaces
  • Identify and communicate gaps between current and desired end-states of Slack
  • Represent, setup, and monitor the needs for AWS to host Slack Custom Apps
  • Ensure consistent performance and improve collaboration and SaaS integrations
  • Support and escalate points for technical issues
  • Assist with delivery management processes and enforcement
  • Provide scheduled and ad-hoc demos and trainings of all Slack, custom Slack apps, workflow, and other digital workplace tools
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal/external teams
  • Monitor and help with service now Slack escalation queues
  • Work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with SaaS and Slack
  • Proficiency with Python and AWS
  • Experience with digital workplace tools, specifically Slack Admin, Slack Workflows, Slack Forms, Slack APPs and APIs
  • Experience in the enablement of enterprise-level processes
  • Experience with configuring and supporting integration using tools such as PowerShell, JavaScript, and Postman
  • Be conversant with software development technologies, processes, and tools
  • Proficiency with web services/RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks
  • Knowledge of databases, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL models. 
  • Competency in cloud security models and API security models
  • Conceptual and practical understanding of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile Frameworks
  • Ability to comprehend common networking terms and tools
  • Previous experience working in a dynamic and agile environment
  • Expert skills in managing multiple clients and deliverables at any given time through effective time-management and planning
  • Showcase good interpersonal skills and communication, both written and spoken
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality, and a collaborative attitude
  • Good work ethic and the ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
