Job description

A fast-paced company operating as a manufacturer, developer, and industry leader in first aid integration is looking for a Senior Twilio Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing system requirements, standards, and programming in order to create and implement solutions. The company's mission is to simplify emergency first aid systems such that accuracy is guaranteed, equipment is readily maintained, lives are saved, and expenses are minimized.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and implement into the AWS, PHP, and MySQL stack 
  • Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code to explain and show solutions
  • Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions
  • Improve operations by doing system analysis and advocating policy and procedural improvements
  • Update job knowledge through researching cutting-edge development tools, programming methodologies, and computer hardware

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of ZURB foundation and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with jQuery, PHP, and Node.js
  • Experience in Nginx and AWS EC2
  • Knowledge of AWS RDS and MySQL
  • Source control experience
  • Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
  • Expertise working in an agile environment, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in English
