Senior Solutions Architect

A U.S.-based company that is utilizing data-backed technology to help clients accelerate their business growth is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect. The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment. The company offers services for media mix modeling, brand development, and direct marketing. Job Responsibilities:

• Work in tandem with business and technical leaders and stakeholders
• Help with the necessary front-end design, UX, UI, and back-end needs by sizing, scoping, and ranking them
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to size, scope, and prioritize technical solutions across multiple concurrent client engagements
• Gather, organize, and prioritize requirements for new builds while improving existing builds
• Assist with technical ideation of new features to expand the Mochi suite (analytics and data services) of product solutions
• Work with front-end developers, designers, data scientists, engineers, product leads, business leads, and product managers to develop both client solutions and sophisticated analytics and data services applications
• Create unique SaaS, Big Data, and associated software that can be used by internal employee stakeholders, larger adjacencies stakeholders, and external client user stakeholders
• For the purposes of ingesting, syncing, parsing, and processing complicated data streams, create automated data pipelines (input and output)
• Designs and develops the target state plan for the systems employed throughout the various business lines, from client prospecting to disengagement
• Integrate a number of third-party APIs and additional datasets from various sources into one (or more) specially designed measurement and visualization platforms
• Be a liaison between the various groups while leading design teams, defining a development strategy, and communicating with your team and the organization for which you work

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a solution architect
• 5+ years of relevant experience with significant client-facing roles
• Extensive content knowledge in Data Modeling and/or big data analytics is a plus
• Prior experience and comprehension of KPIs, ROAS & other retail/e-commerce platform/seller/merchant data metrics is nice to have
• Being a strong leader and influencer who can execute tactically and strategically in a startup-like atmosphere is essential
• Thorough understanding of enterprise/b2b clients' needs and the capacity to cooperate and translate these needs into product features is nice to have
• In-depth Cloud architecture knowledge is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases and ETL technology 
• Ability to analyze complex, multivariate data sets automatically using Python and other similar scripting languages from a range of sources
• Ability to read technical whitepapers, PRDs, BRDs, and other such documents in order to understand, translate, and assist in writing applicable project and product requirement specs
• Strong familiarity with the most widely used and ubiquitous database design & development technologies, with extensive expertise in architecting automated decisions of structured and unstructured huge data sets in real-time
• Solid track record of developing engaging interactive apps, data visualizations, and GUIs
• Experience developing apps using human interface principles is preferred
• Prior knowledge of batch data processing and/or development of real-time analysis systems
• Proficient experience using source version control is nice to have
• Prior experience with client-facing communications and collaborations 
• Ability to switch between complicated data/SaaS-related coding and business development 
• Prolific fluency with data and experience with data visualization
• Excellent collaboration and a drive to mentor newcomers to your field are needed
• Solid understanding of physical measurement principles, advanced statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling techniques is preferred
• Nice to have some background in developing, implementing, and maintaining machine learning systems
• Recent professional experience working in shopping, e-commerce, and retail sales and performance data analytics is preferred
• Nice to have some knowledge of modern database best practices 
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is desirable
• Excellent English communication skills
