Job description

An emerging company on a mission to help brands to seamlessly establish a presence in a virtual world is looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining engineering standards, tooling, and processes. The company is on a mission to encourage and build interoperability between games natively in the metaverse. The company has successfully raised more than $4.8mn in funding so far. This position requires some overlap with the China time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor current smart contracts and optimize the functionality to mitigate bottlenecks 
  • Architect and implement smart contracts based on requirements
  • Implement software unit testing strategies and protocols to maintain the software development cycle
  • Participate in user research activities, which may include participatory design sessions
  • Ensure systems are in line with engineering best practices in security and standards

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a senior software engineer
  • Must have experience in Smart Contracts and Solidity
  • Nice to have experience in Hardhat, Truffle, AMM, Rust
  • Prior experience in EIP721 and EIP1155
  • Demonstrable experience in OpenZeppelin
  • Nice to have experience in Rust
  • Comprehensive knowledge of other chains (Solana, Polkadot, Matic, etc.) is a plus 
  • Experience in De-Fi primitives including tokens and bonding curves
  • Hands-on experience with staking and liquidity farming contracts
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Proficient in conversational and written Mandarin
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prolific ability to adapt to changes
  • Ability to work within stringent deadlines
