Senior Research Developer

A US-based organization that is challenging conventions to drive innovation in science and medicine is looking for a Senior Developer. The selected candidate will work closely with the scientific research community on data pipelining, script and app creation, QA/QC, and Machine Learning. The organization is on a mission to facilitate groundbreaking discoveries that will help to further improve the health of people around the world. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. They have managed to successfully raise $170mn+ in funding so far. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to prioritize, scope, specify, build, test, and deliver data pipelines, schemas, models, tests, and bots
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
• Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals
• Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
• Design, implement, and manage the lifecycle of products built/configured for the research community

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
• Must have experience working in a scientific lab setting
• Nice to have experience in R, C++, and Python
• Great communication skills
