Job description

A US-based healthcare company that produces and sells healthcare product solutions is looking for a Senior Release Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire project cycle, from requirements analysis to task creation, as well as facilitating designs, building, testing, and providing operational documentation. Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and release of DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Actively develop and implement innovative Azure cloud solutions
  • Assist the team in defining technical standards in Azure environments
  • Handle end-to-end project cycle from analyzing requirements to crafting tasks, facilitate designs, build, test, and provide operational documentation
  • Design, implement and support Microsoft Azure solutions that meets technical, security, and business requirements
  • Undertake technical reviews to ensure that company’s technical, security, and business needs are met 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer 
  • Extensive experience in DevOps 
  • Prolific experience in Azure Cloud Services, Docker Images, Containers, Kubernetes, Distributed Cache: Redis, Distributed APM solutions
  • Prior experience in automation, monitoring & logging tools
  • Demonstrable experience designing, implementing and supporting high-level Azure infrastructure solutions
  • Nice to have experience in the healthcare, finance, and insurance domain 
  • Experience with cloud-based (Azure is mandatory) application/service architecture, including deployment and scaling, is preferred
  • Experience with Continuous Integration Delivery models such as Azure DevOps, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC is nice to have 
  • Solid automation experience using Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM templates
  • Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure solutions, preferably in relation to Microsoft Azure, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies is preferred but not required 
  • Solid understanding of design, implementation, and support experience of sophisticated Azure infrastructure solutions (IaaS & PaaS)
  • Prior experience monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Azure Monitor / Log Analytics) is a bonus 
  • Experience in Azure HA/DR, scaling, and backup solutions (ASR, Azure Backup, Scale Sets)
  • Strong background in designing, implementing, and supporting Active Directory and Azure AD solutions
  • Experience in RBAC and MFA
  • Experience with Azure network topologies and technologies, including VPN gateways and ExpressRoute
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (AKS) is a plus 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
