Job description

A fast-growing company that is on a mission to make it easier for businesses and developers to build an interactive web application, is looking for a Senior Payments Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and clarifying requirements while working closely with the product managers. Developers can leverage the company's superior technology to create fully embedded user logins and payments for online businesses. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy tackling challenging problems.  


Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing responsive, scalable, and maintainable payments pages 
  • Take responsibility for the company’s payments page to create touchpoints for customers
  • Lead complex projects and iterate solutions to make improvements
  • Monitor the payments architecture of the application and evolve it to ensure maximum performance, stability, and reliability 
  • Build scalable and robust codes for future implementation 
  • Work in an autonomous environment and be available to resolve emerging software issues promptly 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Must have extensive experience in TypeScript, Stripe Connect API, and Node.js
  • Prior experience working with other payment integrations is a great bonus
  • Ability to take concepts and scope them to milestones, then execute
  • Demonstrable experience with startups is a plus
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
