Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is one of the largest, fastest-growing providers of short-term loans and financial services based in the US is looking for a Senior Web/Mobile Developer. The developer will work on various products across the company’s multiple brands/products, creating customer-facing websites and mobile applications, etc. The company offers easily accessible financial and loan services for short-term requirements and is looking to expand its business online. The company has raised $100mn+ in funding so far and has distinguished itself as an industry leader. This is a great opportunity to work in an upbeat, friendly, and fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the architecture and design patterns including, reliability and scaling of new and current systems
  • Guide and mentor other software engineers
  • Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems and deliver scalable solutions
  • Think abstractly and split problems into deliverable parts
  • Code, implement and support enhancements, creating new features and products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a full-stack development role
  • Knowledge of one or more object-oriented programming patterns and practices
  • Experience with disciplines such as ASP.NET/.Net Core, JavaScript, HTML5, C#, CSS, TypeScript, React, XML, JSON, GIT, Browser Debugging, Web Services, and Single-Page Application
  • Experience in NPM, Yarn, GraphQL or SQL
  • Experience developing for iOS and/or Android platforms
  • Track-record of building user-facing software for the browser or mobile platforms
  • Prior DevOps experience with builds and releases
  • Expertise in the development of automated units, component, and integration testing
  • Familiarity with articulating technical challenges and solutions
  • Prior working experience in the Financial Industry is nice to have
