An emerging company that has created a dating app for South Asian people spread across the world is looking for a Senior Kotlin Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for critical Android mobile app development and maintenance. The company is on a mission to empower the world to find love by building the best dating product experience. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work at an innovative company with a diverse team of talented professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new customer-facing product features
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure features
  • Develop and maintain key aspects of the technology base

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience developing Android mobile apps, preferably consumer-facing
  • Extensive experience and expertise as a Kotlin engineer
  • Prolific experience with the Android SDK
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous web services
  • Prior experience working with Android animations
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong object-oriented and architectural skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
