Job description

A Silicon Valley-based startup that has managed to develop the world's first API-accessible data privacy vault is looking for a Senior IT Engineer. The selected candidate must be a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player as they will be leading the IT operations of the platform. The company aims to transform how businesses handle and secure their users’ personal, financial, and healthcare information - the data that drives the digital economy. The company has secured funding worth $24.8 mn during their Series A round. This will be a great chance for the candidate to collaborate with industry professionals and grow rapidly.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to define, implement and support high tech operations
  • Take ownership of IT systems, including development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the systems
  • Liaise with product infrastructure and operations team to ensure alignment of technologies and systems
  • Establish best practices to perform IT functions
  • Function in an environment with numerous cybersecurity compliance requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in providing support in a professional IT environment
  • Experience providing support at a C-Suite level
  • Prior experience with a ticketing system (Jira or ServiceCloud)
  • Solid understanding of workstation/edge management systems: JAMF, AV, EDR
  • Strong OSX Mac experience
  • Experience with some of Google Apps Suite, Jira, Salesforce SalesCloud and ServiceCloud, Zoom, HR systems, Greenhouse, etc.
  • Solid cross-team project management experience
  • High level of proficiency in IT, including infrastructure, operations, vendor management, and end-user support
  • Familiarity with IT industry best approaches and standards
  • A track record and background in information technology in SaaS product companies 
  • Prior experience establishing IT organization in early-stage companies
  • Experience in information security compliance environment
