Job description

A rapidly-growing company building a world-class payment application that enables users to shop online and pay in cash at different payment points is looking for a Senior Django Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with building new features, fixing bugs, and bringing new tools and ideas to the table. The company is on a mission to meet the banking needs of the unbanked or semi-banked people in LATAM. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are eager to tackle complex challenges and build customer-centric products. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and refactor existing code into high-quality code
  • Design reliable, scalable, and reusable code
  • Ensure high-quality performance and usability of applications
  • Identify and correct performance bottlenecks, perform debugs and fixes
  • Maintain the quality, organization, and automation of the entire application stack

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience with Python, Django, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrable experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in web services
  • Prolific experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
