Job description

A well-established company that is developing a world-class OTT platform that has successfully managed to transform the Entertainment industry, is looking for a SDET Mobile Automation Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building and keeping up-to-date test scripts and product documentation. The company is providing digital entertainment services including sporting events, movies, and TV shows to audiences in more than 16 languages. So far, the company has managed to secure more than $225mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements and testing goals by interacting with the development teams
  • Using user stories, product requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria, create the product
  • Create and maintain test cases and an automation testing framework for the execution of functional and regression tests
  • Develop manual and automated test cases and run them


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an SDET Mobile Automation Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with JavaScript, Python, and Objective-C
  • Prolific experience with Swift for iOS and Java
  • Extensive experience working with Scala and Go/Golang
  • Solid experience with Mobile automation for Android using Espresso/Compose UI
  • Prior Mobile automation experience using XCUITest for iOS
  • Nice to have some understanding of Playwright
  • Some niche skill set with specific background and high-scale experience
  • Excellent English communication skills
