Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing world-class software technology that will transform the mortgage industry is looking for an SDET Engineer. The engineer will be reporting to the VP of Engineering and will be collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to replicate, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs. The company’s B2B SaaS technology solutions have quickly gained recognition as an industry leader in loan origination and servicing software. Job Responsibilities:


  • Work together to plan, implement, and carry out test strategies with cross-functional teams of developers, quality assurance engineers, and product managers
  • Demonstrate your proficiency with test automation and software development by helping to increase the process's general efficacy and efficiency
  • Work together with the development team to create test cases, test plans, and an understanding of the software requirements
  • To improve test coverage and efficiency, design, create, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts
  • Run and examine test cases to find errors, resolve problems, and generate thorough bug reports
  • Keep track of and record all testing flaws and fixes
  • Work together as a team to mentor young engineers, impart technical advice, and share information


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as an SDET engineer
  • 6+ years of expertise in expanding and improving automation frameworks and technologies
  • Extensive experience working with Software Testing and REST API testing
  • Demonstrable experience with C#, Python, and Azure
  • Solid understanding of .NET, Selenium, and JUnit
  • Familiarity with Git, Microservices, SQL, and CI/CD is nice to have
  • Ability to flourish in optimizing software build, deployment, and continuous integration processes to raise development efficiency and quality
  • Strong grasp of the principles and techniques of software development
  • Substantial experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Appium, and Selenium
  • In-depth knowledge of Web apps and RESTful API testing
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft technologies, such as MVC/WEB API, Azure, C#/.NET tech stack,.NET Framework,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to debug complicated software problems
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams efficiently
  • Fluent in conversational and written English communication
