Job description

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust features for small autonomous vehicles using the Robot Operating System (ROS)
Apply expertise in C++ and Python to create and optimize the functionality of mobile robots
Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to achieve project milestones and adhere to the product roadmap
Utilize Git for version control and collaboration with team members in a shared codebase environment
Perform routine testing and debugging to ensure the reliable performance of robotics applications across various platforms

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Demonstrated experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and development of autonomous vehicle features
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with a focus on developing applications for robotics
Familiarity with using Git for source code management and team collaboration
Basic proficiency in Linux, comfortable working within a Linux-based development environment
Proven ability to implement guidelines and follow a product roadmap with minimal supervision
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in the development and testing of robotic systems
Excellent teamwork skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary framework
Fluent in spoken and written English communication
