Job description

A U.S.-based company that is spearheading the clean energy revolution to help power the coming generation, communities, and businesses, is looking for a Product Manager. The selected candidate will be reporting to the VP while partnering with stakeholders on the construction team to drive business requirements and enable efficiencies. The company offers turnkey clean energy solutions for businesses, municipalities, and homes in an effort to lower energy expenses and carbon emissions. So far, the company has managed to successfully raise $753mn+ in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set out requirements to enable operational efficiencies, and then put those improvements into practice to realize benefits
  • Divide huge projects into smaller components that can add value gradually
  • Own the toolkit needed by the construction team, including project management, inventory management, etc.
  • Discover, hire, guide, and train aspiring administrators 
  • Collect and analyze data to problem-solve or inform decision-makers
  • Demonstrate a drive to create efficiency in processes while simplifying and communicating abstract or complex problems
  • Comprehend and concisely articulate difficult, unclear concepts and problems 
  • Take care of the overall strategy for the tools used by the construction team, the processes around them, their deployment and configuration, and the integration of those tools with other systems and teams within the company
  • Work together with business stakeholders to describe and visualize current workflows and pinpoint pain areas through ongoing research 
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to assess trade-offs and decisions 
  • Prioritize features and requests in light of the business's potential value and strategic objectives
  • Establish success criteria and encourage accountability to meet them
  • Showcase a thorough understanding of the technical features of the business tools used by the construction team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager
  • 2+ years of experience working with Construction software (planning, inventory management, etc.) or related applications 
  • Extensive experience working with ProCore and other related technologies
  • Prolific experience in mapping complex processes 
  • Ability to manage complex projects with numerous stakeholders and external consulting teams 
  • Prior consulting experience is desirable but not required
  • Ability to manage commercial needs, technical complexity, and market in a timely manner, without settling for the most affordable option 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Great collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
