Job description

A US-based company that specializes in organizing and managing highly qualified teams of industry specialists to build and develop software is looking for a Mid/Senior Vue.js Developer. The selected candidate will be helping the existing team to build out a Vue-based front-end SPA to replace an older legacy application. The company works extensively with teams of in-house experts, outside agencies, software-development shops, and freelancers to efficiently produce the best software product at the most reasonable cost. This is a nice opportunity for highly motivated, intellectually curious, and disciplined developers that love all aspects of front-end development. It will be a full-time position that requires a 5+ hours overlap with the CST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively approach brainstorming sessions and continue to put innovative ideas on the table
  • Participate in pair-programming sessions
  • Regularly present and articulate ideas
  • Create the very best end-product for clients
  • Take ownership of deliverables
  • Engage directly with stakeholders
  • Make meaningful contributions of real business value to end-users and organizations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • Extensive experience with Vue.js + Vuex  
  • Solid knowledge of general Vue.js ecosystem of tools/frameworks (experience with Quasar / NuxtJS would be useful, Webpack/rollup/Vite/Babel)
  • Prolific experience working with .NET core, Git, Typescript, and JavaScript
  • Demonstrated interest or experience dabbling with frameworks other than Vue.js (like React, Angular, Mythril, RiotJS, Alpine, Svelte, Elm, Ember, etc.)
  • Prior experience building PWAs/Android/Swift/Objective-C mobile apps is desirable
  • Nice to have a solid understanding of Python, C#, F#, Java, etc
  • Prior experience working with databases/ORMs/SQL and search engines (Elastic/Lucene or commercial) is nice to have
  • Strong communication skills
