Mid-level and Senior Data Engineers

A rapidly growing healthtech company consisting of an ambitious team that aims at revolutionizing healthcare staffing is looking for Mid-level and Senior Data Engineers. The engineer will be responsible for architecting the health data platform that will constitute the backbone of the product. The globally distributed company is paving the way in reliability, affordability, and ease of use for both facilities and healthcare professionals. The selected candidate will join the extremely fast-growing startup and contribute efforts to serving more healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data consumption use cases related to product analytics, metrics tracking, experimentation, system monitoring, and ML feature generation
• Drive the health data warehouse roadmap with an eye for ROI
• Contribute to the decision-making processes, and ML initiatives
• Own production ETL pipelines throughout the entire life cycle
• Deliver infrastructure to enable Data Science and Machine Learning workflows (Databricks, MLFlow, etc.)
• Come up with project plans and define team priorities based on business needs and technology strategy
• Define data governance requirements (data access and privacy PII, retention, etc.)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and tooling
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Expertise in SQL
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, etc.)
• Strong experience in data schema design and enterprise data warehousing
• Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks is a plus
• Experience with large-scale distributed data systems is a plus
• Genuine excitement for the speed of startups is an advantage
