Junior Web Scrapper Engineer

A U.S.-based company that aims to organize the world's inventory and make it widely accessible and useful in order to transform B2B purchasing and procurement, is looking for a Junior Web Scrapper Engineer. The engineer will be working and training under a Senior Integrations Engineer. The company is developing a comprehensive platform that enables businesses to view a consolidated list of their top vendors in one place. The company has managed to secure more than $148K during their Seed round of funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Based on consumer input and product performance, prioritize tasks
• Take ownership of the process and code documentation
• Create and maintain back-end technology to give customers a smooth experience
• Establish new vendor connections to retrieve catalog information, update product information, automate orders, and more
• Work with our Product team to identify, prioritize, and resolve customers' reported critical infrastructure errors
• Ability to work alone and thrive in ambiguity
• Create performance dashboards, conduct tests, and analyze test findings
• Take responsibility for the state of the current integrations and create preventative actions to guarantee accurate and current data pipelines
• Create dashboards, enhance the integration architecture already in place, and more
• Expand integration possibilities and create new integrations
• Build new vendor connectors to meet demand and pull catalog data, update product info, automate orders, and more
• Fix time-sensitive and important bugs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience as an Integrations Engineer
• Prior experience working with API Integration, HTML, and Python
• Solid background in web scraper development and maintenance
• Familiarity with Playwright, System Integration Testing, and Integration Testing is desirable
• Ability to work with ambiguity in an autonomous environment
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
