Job description

A NASDAQ-listed online platform that makes transacting with digital currency a seamless experience for merchants, consumers, and traders, is looking for an Integration Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for building new services to meet the crucial requirements of the business and product. The US-based company is dedicated to developing a solid crypto-economy that will transform the finance sector. They have raised over $500mn in funding so far. This is a long-term role with the possibility to turn into a full-time opportunity. It requires a minimum of 6 hours overlap with the PST timezone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Using modern cloud technology and industry best practices, create highly available and scalable systems to solve novel problems
  • Develop a long-term strategy for maintaining and scaling back-end systems and the teams that run them
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and the senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap
  • To meet the needs of customers, write high-quality, well-tested code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Ruby is required
  • Nice to have familiarity with payments, credit risk, or banking
  • Fintech experience is preferred
