Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is building a social platform that connects content creators with their most ardent and devoted fans, is looking for a Fraud Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for providing timely and accurate feedback and solutions to persistent security issues. The company's innovative platform allows creators to communicate directly with their followers while allowing them to earn money by creating their own, authentic community. The company has managed to raise more than $32mn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrate anti-fraud tools and implement security measures within in-house systems
  • Communicate security challenges to the team and document anti-fraud tooling and systems
  • Familiarize the team with common forms of fraud and brainstorm solutions to prevent it 
  • Reduce fraud cases in the company and block fraudulent creator accounts
  • Execute Stripe identity and other anti-fraud SDKs
  • Engineer anti-fraud measures within the company’s in-house systems

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Must have extensive knowledge of React, Node.js, and Stripe
  • Nice to have experience in GCP
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in web full-stack or back-end 
  • Demonstrable experience handling solo projects with high autonomy and independence
  • Passion for social media is a plus
