Job description

A fast-growing company that is that is on a mission to simplify life with secure texting and payments in one handy app, is looking for an Electron.js Software Engineer. The engineer will play a crucial part in developing and refining our desktop cross-platform applications. In addition to offering group chat and encrypted messaging, the company is changing people's lives by letting them pay money to pals, split bills, tip, create a subscription community, and much more. Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrate back-end technologies with Electron.js applications in a seamless manner, showcasing your command of RESTful APIs and enabling front-end and back-end system data interchange
  • In order to facilitate fluid transitions between online and offline modes, provide reliable data storage solutions and synchronization mechanisms to demonstrate the company's dedication to seamless user interactions.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of processing events in real-time and the ability to use WebSockets to create interactive and responsive features on the platform
  • To guarantee a reliable and effective application, create a smooth and user-friendly chat interface while resolving performance issues and incorporating back-end technologies
  • Utilize your demonstrated Electron.js knowledge to create and manage cross-platform desktop applications that support the business's creative vision
  • To provide the best user experiences in Electron.js applications, locate and fix performance bottlenecks
  • Create dynamic and adaptable user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frameworks like React
  • Create aesthetically pleasing and intuitive chat interfaces that improve the platform's user experience overall by putting excellent UI/UX ideas into practice

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Electron.js and experience developing cross-platform desktop applications
  • Strong familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, Node.js, CSS, and modern frameworks like React
  • Strong grasp of UI/UX principles 
  • Ability to produce aesthetically pleasing and intuitive user interfaces that complement the design ethos of the company
  • Thorough understanding of back-end technologies and expertise in incorporating them into Electron.js apps with ease
  • In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and ability to enable front-end and back-end systems to share data
  • Vast expertise in integrating offline and online data synchronization and storage, guaranteeing a flawless user experience
  • Ability to work with WebSockets and handle events in real-time to deliver interactive and responsive features
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
