Job description

A fast-growing company that produces immersive experiences to boost brand awareness by combining real-world and digital surroundings is looking for a Django Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will incorporate state-of-the-art back-end components into the apps to enhance responsiveness and overall performance. The company specializes in creating augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, and consumer interaction experiences for sports, retail, entertainment, media, gaming, and healthcare, among other industries.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in writing effective, scalable, and clear Python code
  • Provide the apps with cutting-edge back-end components to help in improving responsiveness and overall performance
  • Integrate user-facing, front-end components with the back-end
  • Run integration and performance test and debug programs to guarantee current systems are functional
  • Aid the QA/data engineering team in the implementation of security and data protection technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Python (Django)
  • Expertise in AWS RDS
  • Familiarity with Django REST Framework
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL
  • Experience in Celery is a plus
  • Familiarity with Docker and NGINX is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
