Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing AI-based predictive analytics and decision management solutions for financial institutions, is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer. The selected candidate will be leading conversations and making judgments about feasibility, assisting in the application and decision-making process. The company is creating simple-to-use, comprehensive solutions that help customers and organizations to grow their revenue while lowering risk and bias. The company has managed to secure more than $11.6mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement software effectively in highly regulated contexts while comprehending and explaining the relevant restrictions
  • Attend a few client meetings as the IT department's counterpart, learning and anticipating the needs of the client
  • Plan and estimate the work in close cooperation with the product team
  • Take part in discussions and choices about architecture
  • Ensure the proper operation of our systems and apps by taking responsibility for the everyday duty of sustaining production support
  • Reduce and manage infrastructure expenses while maximizing our efforts and resources to provide solutions that are affordable

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, preferably in highly regulated fields like financial technology
  • 5+ years of experience working with Ansible, AWS DevOps, Terraform, and Cloud Security
  • Experience dealing with AWS security policies and effectively completing and complying with the criteria of SOC2 compliance audits
  • Demonstrable aptitude for guiding and working with engineering teams
  • Extensive expertise in articulating the limits involved with the execution of software in highly regulated contexts
  • Prior expertise in minimizing infrastructure costs and producing significant results
  • Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure management, AWS, and IaC
  • Strong communication abilities, including the capacity to communicate technical ideas to people who are not technically savvy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
