Job description

A U.S.-based company that offers tax compliance solutions that enable organizations of every kind to conduct business anywhere, at any moment, is looking for a DevOps/SRE Engineer. The selected candidate will be helping the team of professionals to transform an aging delivery pipeline. The company offers comprehensive tax software solutions that are suited to every client's compliance and automation requirements. This will be a long-term position requiring 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of building and maintaining the monolith 
  • Help the team to transform parts of Octopus Deploy into GitHub Actions
  • Participate in ongoing initiatives to migrate away from octopus deploy
  • Help split up the current monolithic set of programs that perform a variety of tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer
  • Prolific experience working with DevOps, SRE, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub Action
  • Prior experience working with Infrastructure as code
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAFe Agile process
  • Nice to have some understanding of Kubernetes, C#/.NET, AWS, and Azure
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and conversational
