Job description

A US-based company that specializes in developing energy-efficient electronic controllers for refrigerators and air conditioners is looking for a DevOps Software Engineer. The engineer will be expected to contribute to the ongoing evolution of existing solutions. The company's innovative solutions enable refrigeration controls to be tuned for peak performance, saving energy and servicing costs while improving the integrity and shelf life of chilled products. The company has managed to successfully raise more than $17mn in funding so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the internal CI/CD pipelines
  • Work on improving product reliability through automation, unit and integration testing, and process improvement
  • Ensure high service availability, performance, security, and maintainability of systems 
  • Debug production bottlenecks across services and stack levels

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud, CI/CD, Gitlab, Kubernetes, NGINX, and Python
  • Demonstrable experience working on Database Management Systems, REST, JSON, and XML
  • Nice-to-have experience in SaaS, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, and Linux
  • Prior experience in networking and communicating with relevant stakeholders 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
