Job description

A fast-evolving company developing electric vehicles (EVs) & reinventing the automotive landscape is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. As a core member of the team, the engineer will be responsible for creating cloud solution architecture for an in-house connected car software application. The startup is currently preparing for its first vehicle launch and looking for deeply experienced and passionate talent. Candidates who would like to join a fast-scaling team to make an impact within the EV space are well suited for this role. It is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 5 hours daily overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create cloud solution architecture for an in-house connected car software application
  • Implements highly scalable applications
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure 
  • Work with security or software engineers for building secure software using secret management system such as Hashicorp Vault
  • Implement best practices in the cloud infrastructure
  • Implement, maintain, and consult on the observability and monitoring framework such as Datadog/ELK/Prometheus
  • Stay up-to-date with the current and emerging technologies and trends relevant to cloud and database technologies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps specialist
  • Proficient with Python programming language
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Git, Serverless framework
  • Experience with Datadog, ElasticSearch, and Prometheus
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other orchestration tool
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment
