Job description

A US-based company building a consolidated digital threat protection platform to make security easier for everyone is looking for a Desktop Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, maintaining, and executing end-to-end web and desktop architecture. The company is building innovative solutions that proactively takes action to prevent and resolve online threats and security issues in real-time. The company has successfully raised $450mn+ during their Series F round of funding. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the ET/EEST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the latest technology to build out efficient solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build modern applications
  • Contribute to different phases of full development cycles from inception to delivery
  • Develop reusable, high-quality code, and libraries for future use

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a desktop engineer
  • Must possess expertise in working with languages like .NET and C#
  • Must be able to conduct peer reviews using code quality tools
  • Proven experience in working with languages like C and C++ 
  • Should we be well-versed with technologies like WinAPI/COM
  • Experience of working with TDD is preferred
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking and WFP will be beneficial
