Job description

A US-based healthcare connectivity company providing the life science industry with highly targeted interactive marketing, education, content, hiring, and research solutions is looking for a Data Platform Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for helping with ETL processes to pull data from various sources into Snowflake. The company provides physicians and other healthcare professionals with clinical education, as well as the opportunity to participate in market research projects, and new career opportunities. This is a great chance for those who would like to contribute to building solutions that increase work efficiency. It is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 5-6 hours daily overlap with European time zones.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on a variety of data projects
  • Help setting up a data warehouse to run analytics
  • Manage ETL processes to pull data from various sources into Snowflake
  • Create robust pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data 
  • Work with the latest cloud solutions, such as AWS
  • Provides leadership for data engineering and design across various projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience
  • Experience with Snowflake, Python, AWS
  • Good understanding of data warehouse design, data vault methodologies, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Athena
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
