Job description

A fast-growing company providing businesses with a powerful end-to-end robotic platform is looking for a CI/CD Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing creative technical solutions to complex problems that will have a positive impact on products and customers. The U.S.-based company is utilizing cutting-edge, tried-and-true software development workflows and tools to assist enterprises in developing and operating next-generation industrial robotics. The company has managed to secure more than $36mn during their Series A round of funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work across interdisciplinary teams to help build, support, and maintain CI/CD workflows, orchestration, and standards, and help bring a number of repositories up to those standards
  • Optimize and build processes for speed to ensure maximum productivity of software engineers in the company
  • Champion and model software development best practices 
  • Perform test-driven development, GitOps, automation, and security
  • Optimize the Docker container size 
  • Maintain and support workloads in multiple locations
  • Share knowledge and educate engineers on new tooling and software initiatives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Cloud (AWS or equivalent)
  • Prolific experience with building and maintaining CI/CD tooling, championing best practices, and assisting with configuration
  • Proficiency in modern containerization toolsets (Docker, ctrd, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, Argo)
  • Prior experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) is preferred but not required
  • Comfortable with one or more of the following languages (Python, C++, Ruby, Golang, JavaScript, and Bash)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
