Job description

A leading automotive company building electric trucks and SUVs for sustainable transportation is looking for a backend engineer. The company has raised over $8billion in funding so far. The selected candidate will build the core software product of the company and will work alongside the development team to deliver the required software solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate, self-motivated, and intellectually curious to provide futuristic solutions for business problems. This role requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with EST. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design backend applications and enhance product functionality
  • Build new product features and push regular updates 
  • Fix bugs and provide solutions to coding related issues
  • Create technical documentation for the team and write readable codes 
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science(or equivalent experience)
  • Solid experience in AWS and Python 
  • Excellent understanding of Amplify Framework, Lambda, and DynamoDB Data Modeling 
  • Good knowledge of AppSync, API Gateway, and Cloudformation is a plus 
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly 
  • Fluency in English language
  • Exceptional problem-solving aptitude
