Job description

A US-based company dedicated to helping immigrant communities is looking for a Back-end Developer (RoR). The developer will be working on the company’s proprietary data to help scale their subscription telehealth pillar and launch their credit card services. The FinTech company builds scalable solutions for immigrant communities worldwide, empowering them to flourish and comfortably transition to a new country. The company has managed to raise $40 mn during their Series B round. This will be a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for developers to quickly scale through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help to perfect and launch the company’s feature app
  • Leverage a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade applications
  • Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications
  • Diagnose and fix bugs in the application 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Skilled at Ruby on Rails and related frameworks
  • Nice to have some relevant experience working with React
  • Ability to operate and work with autonomy in highly ambiguous situations
