Job description

A U.S.-based company that is using the power of science to provide therapeutic music to users is looking for a Back-End Systems Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building scalable code that meets internal standards for maintainability and best practices. The company is helping users to tap into the combined power of technology and music to have some relief from anxiety. This is a great opportunity for developers who are eager to build lasting, impactful products. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality architecture, design, and technical stack
  • Analyze other engineers' code and work on adding improvements where needed
  • Review existing applications and optimize accordingly
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to understand the information architecture and define APIs 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, Kubernetes, and DevOps
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
