Job description

A U.S.-based company that has deeply ingrained its mark in the Food and Beverages industry with their range of products, is looking for a Back-End Spring Boot Tech Lead. The selected candidate will be taking the lead on an active project with a team and source code that is already in place. Over the past century, the beloved line of products from the NASDAQ-listed company has become widespread throughout the world. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the issues with Azure infrastructure, build and deployment procedures, and application environments are investigated and fixed
  • Identify technical requirements with the help of crucial stakeholders, then transform them into technical design requirements
  • Lead the design and coding of software solutions using your technical knowledge and expertise
  • Utilize all facets of the software development lifecycle with your breadth of knowledge and expertise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer or Tech Lead
  • Extensive experience working with Spring Boot, Spring Web Flux, and Spring Security
  • Demonstrable experience with MS Azure, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong grasp of microservices patterns and demonstrable experience developing microservices
  • Extensive working knowledge of API development, Spring Cloud, WireMock, and Swagger
  • Familiarity working with the cloud ecosystem like Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Prior experience working in a leadership position is nice to have
  • Excellent conversational and written English communication skills
