Job description

A US-based company that enables employees and operations teams to develop healthy, productive, and responsive workplace environments is looking for an Advanced Tableau Visualization Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for continuously discovering and implementing new technologies in the applications. The company is on a mission to help employees flourish and excel by providing mobile-focused solutions for human-powered offices. They have managed to raise more than $7.5mn in funding so far. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be creative enough to help users see and understand their data in a better way
  • Own customer engagements and provide standard methodology advice
  • Take responsibility for customer expectations and consumer
  • Seek difficult challenges and come up with solutions
  • Translate knowledge across different industries and situations and present proposals at every level

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Advanced Tableau visualization experience is required
  • Familiarity with Tableau Server content and user management is nice to have
  • Must be well-informed about databases, warehouses, and BI/Visualization Solutions like Tableau, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server
  • SQL experience within a MySQL environment is required
  • Must have an ETL experience using SQL to support custom SQL data sources in Tableau
