Job description

A well-established company that is developing an intuitive next-gen platform to make online trading an accessible and seamless experience, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements from internal stakeholders on a regular basis to create platforms that are used by customers and make small updates to these platforms with the assistance of internal engineering teams and external vendors. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build into the product planning and prioritize the internal stakeholder's opinions
  • Recognize how the platform's scaling is impacted by how the internal business teams' needs line up with those of external clients
  • Use product prioritizing approaches to make sure that the platform requirements from internal stakeholders are successfully prioritized with input from stakeholders, customers, and engineering
  • Create wireframes and specifications, present them to key stakeholders for approval, and explain the scope and nature of the work to be done
  • Aid in requirement management throughout the project lifecycle, including tracking issues and defects
  • Participate actively in determining and reducing risk throughout the project
  • Identify the demands of internal business teams, then translate those needs into platform features
  • Prioritize requirements, serve as a subject matter expert, control the product backlog, and organize forthcoming sprints to assist product development
  • Work well with QA and take responsibility for the project's successful completion in accordance with the project's goals, scope, and timeline
  • Form alliances with significant players in the fields of technology, data, business, marketing, compliance, trade, and operations
  • Effectively communicate with all parties involved and take control with enthusiasm

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
  • 5+ years of experience working with project management
  • Strong background designing technological products and/or features with a brokerage company 
  • Demonstrable FinTech experience is required
  • Experience in working on a product that involves Firebase and Google Analytics
  • Must have a track record of making data-driven judgments and a highly analytical approach
  • Thorough understanding of trading products, CFDs, and financial markets
  • Experience working in an agile environment on products that are released every two weeks
  • Must have a methodical, detail-oriented thought approach
  • Ability to select features based on client needs and wishes and possess good interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Develop new methods while contesting the status quo
  • Ability to structure ideas and communicate them succinctly
  • Prior trading platform/product experience is nice to have
  • Fluent in written and spoken English communication
